AUSTIN - Taylor Morrison has purchased more than 50 acres in north Austin with plans to begin development this fall, the company announced today.
The new community, Montebello, is located on Highway 620, between Anderson Mill and FM 2222. With Balcones Canyonland Preserve and convenient shopping nearby, Montebello will offer residents both the open space and the shopping destinations they desire.
“Montebello’s location makes these limited opportunity homes that much more special,” said Michael Lindeman, vice president of sales and marketing for Taylor Morrison’s Austin division. “Where else can you experience the serene views of a nature preserve and the convenience of nearby shopping in a location as desirable as Montebello?”
With approximately 140 home sites available at Montebello, Taylor Morrison plans to build single-family homes that will range from approximately 1,800 to more than 2,700 square feet. Pricing has yet to be determined.
The gated community will also offer nature trails that will take advantage of the natural landscape found at Montebello. Additional activities such as boating, swimming, fishing, picnicking and more can be found at Lake Travis, which is conveniently located near Montebello.
Montebello will offer access to the highly acclaimed Leander Independent School District (ISD) as well as convenient access to Lake Austin.
