"We know there are lots of extra expenses this time of year, so we're hoping to make it easier for families wishing for a new 'furry' family member," says Aren Bazzocco, Taylor Morrison Sacramento Division President. The "Home for the Holidays" event will feature dozens of adorable cats and dogs from puppies and kittens to senior animals—which are often already trained and make for excellent companions and family pets.

For those unable to attend the Home for the Holidays event, Taylor Morrison is extending the adoption window and sponsoring all pet adoptions for the entire week – Wednesday, December 12 through Wednesday, December 19, 2018.

"We are thrilled to partner with Taylor Morrison to find wonderful family for our adoptable pets," said Kenn Altine, Sacramento SPCA CEO. "We hope many of our long-term animals find the perfect families to snuggle up with this holiday season."

Since partnering with the Sacramento SPCA in 2017, Taylor Morrison has helped find 'fur'ever homes for over 130 animals. Last year, 76 animals were adopted during the event, and Taylor Morrison hopes to help even more animals find a new home by the New Year. "Our passion for building community in the areas in which we live and build, along with making a difference in the lives of shelter animals and their owners, is why we embrace partnering with the Sacramento SPCA, especially this time of year," added Bazzocco.
