PHOENIX, Dec. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Taylor Morrison has announced the winner of its Homemade Memories video contest, and the Texas family receiving the $10,000 room makeover grand prize will definitely welcome the addition.

Adam and Danielle Busby of Houston, Texas were selected as the winners of the national contest after making it through both the semi-final selection round and then the final round of voting last month.

It's not the first time the Busbys have been leaders. Danielle was the first American mother to ever give birth to all-girl quintuplets. Not surprisingly, the arrival of those five girls figured prominently in the Busby video.

"I was thinking through everything that happened in our house," Adam Busby said. "The biggest part of our first house was that all of our babies came home in this house. All of our memories are here. That's the one thing that we're always going to remember about this house."

Busby's video captured those memories and the emotion that went along with them. In the end, it was enough to help the Texas family win the grand prize.

"We were looking for great stories when we launched the contest and we definitely got one," said Graham Hughes, vice president of corporate sales and marketing at Taylor Morrison. "We love providing our homeowners with the opportunity to create their own lasting memories in our homes and the Busbys did just that."

From October 12 to November 15, the national homebuilder asked people to grab their cellphones, video cameras or GoPros to record the most special moments made in their homes. More than 125 people posted their own Homemade Memories.

Then, each week during the contest period, Taylor Morrison picked two videos to advance to the final round of voting. The weekly semi-finalists each received GoPro cameras for their efforts. For the contest's final week, the public voted on their favorite semi-finalist video, with the Busbys winning the grand prize.
